By booking an appointment, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following:

🐶 Dog Health & Welfare

I confirm my dog is in good general health and fit for grooming.
I will inform the groomer of any medical conditions, skin issues, allergies, anxiety, or behavioural concerns.
I understand that grooming may reveal pre-existing conditions.

✂️ Coat Condition & Matting

I understand that matted coats may require humane clipping for my dog’s welfare.
I consent to mat removal where it is safe and in my dog’s best interest.
I understand that de-matting may cause temporary redness or irritation.
If the coat condition compromises welfare, the groom may be stopped.

🐕 Behaviour & Handling

I understand some dogs may find grooming stressful.
If my dog becomes distressed, aggressive, or unsafe to groom, the session may be stopped.
Additional time, breaks, or handling may incur an extra charge.

🛁 Grooming Results

I understand that grooming results depend on coat condition, behaviour, and breed.
Specific styles cannot be guaranteed if the coat does not allow it.

💷 Pricing & Payment

Prices are a guide and may change following coat and behaviour assessment.
Any additional charges will be discussed before proceeding.
Payment is due on completion of the groom.

⚠️ Accidents & Liability

Grooming involves sharp tools and equipment.
While every care is taken, minor nicks or skin irritation may occasionally occur.
Monica Dog Grooming is not responsible for pre-existing conditions revealed during grooming
